During the second week of March 11-15 we held a Culture Week inaugurating the establishment of Ernst Cassirer’s Center for International Scholarship and Cooperation. The rationale behind it was to present foundational ideas for the center – cultural diplomacy and interculutral dialogue between different epistemologies, as contained in the texts and life of Ernst Cassirer. Visiting scholars included: professor Kenneth Stikkers (Univeristy of Southern Illinois Carbondale, USA), professor Gintautas Mażeikis (Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania), doctor Mikołaj Wiśniewski (SWPS University Warsaw, Poland).
